SWAT’s primary mission is to confront, neutralize and remove terrorists, snipers, hostage takers, homicidal individuals, and barricaded individuals. As have been proven over the years, an immediate response is critical to resolving these types of criminal disasters. In addition to their primary mission, SWAT works daily in a covert capacity to apprehend the most dangerous violent criminals. The officers assigned to SWAT must constantly maintain both physical and firearms standards. Their training is relentless. SWAT officers respond to what most would describe as criminal chaos. But to the well trained SWAT officer it is not chaos; it is merely SWAT officers executing a precision assault by perfect shooters to resolve the most difficult of situations.
