Instructions for viewing / printing copies of accident reports
If you are having difficulty reading/viewing the accident report using
Internet Explorer, please follow the following instructions:
The copy of the accident report you are requesting is a .gif (Graphics
Interchange Format) file. A .gif file can be viewed by a number of
software applications.
While the copy is open in Internet Explorer, right-click anywhere in the
document.
- Choose the 'Save Picture As...' option.
- Rename the document with a name that you can easily remember, and save it on
your hard drive. (Probably your C:\ drive)
- Using another program such as Microsoft Paint, Microsoft Word, Adobe
Photoshop, or any other graphic viewer or editor you may have, open the document
from your hard drive. It should be somewhat clearer and easier to read.
